Make plans to spend an evening at Violet Bank during the Candlelit Open House.  The lovely Federal style house will be aglow in candlelight and beautifully decorated in seasonal greenery. The Candlelit Open House is from 6pm to 8pm on all the evenings listed.  No tours can be given at that time, please visit for a tour during normal operating hours for the Museum.  Violet Bank will be accepting non-perishable food donations during the Candlelit Open House to benefit the Colonial Heights Food Pantry, so please give generously. Admission is free and open to the public.  Santa will be onsite every night of the Candlelit Open House, stop by for a visit with Old Saint Nick.

• Friday:  12-06-19  Featuring  Red Tenor Sax playing a soulful selection of holiday favorites. During intermission, Museum staff will read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
• Saturday:  12-07-19  Featuring Ms. Christi Mancha performing "A Christmas Carol" from 6pm to 7pm. Featuring Clan Haggis singing traditional songs of Christmas from 7pm to 8pm.
• Sunday:   12-08-19  Featuring Red Tenor Sax playing a selection of Christmas favorites. During intermission, Museum staff will read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
• Friday:  12-13-19  Featuring Ms. Lori Lunsford singing the songs of the season. During intermission, Museum staff will read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
• Saturday:  12-14-19  Featuring the 12th Virginia Civil War Dance Ensemble-period dance demonstration.
• Sunday:  12-15-19  Features both Red Tenor Sax and Ms. Lori Lunsford with loads of festive holiday tunes.
