Armed Robbery

**Arrest Update**


Subjects Arrested for Robbery and Abduction on January 23, 2019, the Colonial Heights Police Department, with the help of the U S Marshal Task Force and the Hopewell Police Department, arrested Cornelius Terrill Staton and Justin Deshawn Hall both of the 2500 block of Oaklawn Boulevard, Hopewell, Virginia, for multiple charges including armed robbery. Charges are the result of an armed robbery that occurred on January 20, 2019 around 7:16am at the “Cookout”, located in the 600 block of the Boulevard. Staton has been charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit robbery, break and enter while armed to commit a felony, and abduction. Hall has been charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, break and enter while armed to commit a felony, and abduction. Staton and Hall are currently being held without bond at Riverside Regional Jail pending their next court appearance in Colonial Heights courts on January 28, 2019. (Full Media Release)
