On July 27 from 11am-1pm, join George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette for a reading of "Revolutionary Friends: Gen. George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette" under the Cucumber Tree at Violet Bank Museum. After the reading there will coloring sheets, bookmarks, and games. Children will also be able to select a book title highlighting the Revolutionary War as we being to celebrate the 250th celebration. Please plan to bring a bagged lunch or snack to enjoy on the grounds of Violet Bank Museum under the beautiful Cucumber Tree.
