Due to the anticipated winter storm and expected hazardous weather conditions, the Recreation and Parks Department has the following closures and cancellations.
Park, Program, and Service Cancellations
- All parks will be CLOSED until further notice beginning Saturday January 24 at 12:00pm
- All scheduled programs for Sunday January 25 are cancelled
- Senior Transportation services are cancelled for Monday January 26 and Tuesday January 27
- Senior Center programs have been cancelled for Monday January 26 and Tuesday January 27
- Evening programs at the Community Center on Monday January 26 and Tuesday January 27 are cancelled
- Youth Basketball practices are cancelled for Monday January 26
- Please stay tuned for further updates for facilities and programs scheduled for next week
The safety of our residents, visitors, staff, and volunteers is our highest priority. Travel and outdoor activity during the winter storm are expected to be unsafe, and all updates on closures and rescheduling of programs and activities will be posted on the City and Department website and through social media outlets.
