City of Colonial Heights
Curbside Trash, Recycling, and Bulky Waste Services
Curbside trash and recycling collection is available in the City of Colonial Heights through a public/private contract with the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority.
Trash is collected once a week on Wednesdays.
Recycling is collected bi-weekly on Blue Fridays.
Bulky Waste collection requests must be scheduled in advance by Tuesdays at 2pm to receive same week service. Schedule a pickup at CVWMA.com/ch-trash-service or by calling 804-340-0900.
When a holiday is observed by CVWMA and collection services are delayed due to closures the City will attempt to post updates and notices to the City's Website in the News section, and on the City's facebook page. These delays will also be scheduled and shared by CVWMA on their pages. Please note that services may also be impacted due to severe weather.
