Recycle That Tree!  

CVWMA offers recycling for real Christmas trees at no charge.

One of the ultimate ways to “go green” at the holidays is to recycle a real Christmas tree. Many CVWMA member localities are offering this service at no charge to their residents. 

• Programs are open only to residents of the sponsoring locality. 

• All trees must be free of ornaments, lights, tinsel and stands.  

• Recycled trees are chipped into a mulch-type product that can be applied to the landscape. 

• Real Christmas trees can also be placed outside as wildlife habitat.
