Robert W. “Bobby” Wade was elected to Colonial Heights City Council on November 3, 2020. Bobby is a longtime resident of Colonial Heights, and is married to Tereasa Ingo Wade. They have two children, Robbie Wade and Ryan Blair Martin. Three grandchildren, Alexis, Kaylee and Colton.

Bobby graduated from Colonial Heights High School and obtained an Associates in Insurance Claims, (AIC) for Commercial, Liability, Property & Contract Law from the University of Richmond. His career of 44 years in the Insurance Industry includes founding and successful operation of two companies, ClaimCo Services, Inc and RWW Properties, LLC.

Bobby serves as a Commissioner on the Colonial Heights Planning Commission and the Transportation Safety Commission. He is a past Chairman of the Colonial Heights Economic Development Authority and an active member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. A veteran of the United States Army Reserve and has past service on the Colonial Heights Electoral Committee.

Bobby enjoys golf, classic cars and spending time with his family.
