🚛 Updated Trash Collection & Disposal Notice
We want to clarify that regular curbside trash collection is operating as scheduled this week. Because recent ice and snow have made some secondary roads difficult for trucks to navigate, we are providing additional options to ensure everyone's waste is collected.
🗓️ Curbside Pickup Details
On-Schedule Service: Trash collection is planned to remain on schedule this week. Regular collection for Wednesday will occur as planned.
Overflow Collection: For this week only, Waste Management will collect additional overflow trash bags placed on the ground next to your resident trash bins.
♻️ Recycling Center & Optional Usage of Extra Dumpster
The City Recycling Center will be open for its regular schedule this coming Friday, Saturday, and Monday. A Waste Management dumpster is currently on-site to handle extra household trash for residents that may wish and are able to take extra trash to the center. This is strictly optional for residents who have overflow trash or whose specific street may have been inaccessible due to ice.

Reminder: The temporary dumpster is for standard household trash only. Residents with Bulky Waste will still need to process a special Bulky Waste request through CVWMA by clicking HERE or by calling (804)340-0900.
