About the Parks Division
The Parks Division is responsible for managing more than 75 acres of park land within the City’s nine parks. They are also responsible for upkeep on all eleven ballfields (including Shepherd Stadium), nine tennis courts, the Soccer Complex, as well as the City’s buildings and grounds and Horticulture operations. Pavilion Rentals
Picnic Pavilions may be reserved beginning the first working day of December each year. Pavilions available for reservation:

Individual picnic shelters at all parks, which seat up to 8 people, are available on a first come, first serve basis. Grills as well as trash receptacles are provided at the Pavilions. Park restrooms and electricity are available for use April 1 - October 31 only.
To be classified as a city resident, city business, or city non-profit organization, the principal residence, office, or place of business must be located within city limits of Colonial Heights.
