Purpose of a Knox Box

The Fire Department offers its residences and businesses the opportunity to purchase a Knox Box. This is a heavy gauged metal security box, which allows the fire department a key to your home or business in case of an emergency.

The cost of a Knox Box is about $210.00, plus shipping, for a residential box. (In comparison, the cost to replace a door or window could be more then $350.00!).
